Sea Squirts Dive Group

The Sea Squirts Scuba Club is a LGBT and gay-friendly dive group of friends who love to dive, travel, eat, drink and be merry together!  We formed the group to provide a network for us and our friends to come together, dive, celebrate diving, and do philanthropic work through our diving.

We have members from all over the United States, from Maine to Hawaii to Alaska.  While our members live all across the United States, the organization is currently based in North Carolina.

In addition to DFL, we try to plan other trips, both full dive weeks and shorter weekend dives.  Last Fall a small group of us went to Bonaire and stayed 8 days at Buddy Dive Resort.  Earlier in the year we met up in Kona, Hawaii for a week of diving off the big island.  And in addition to DFL's trip to Belize, we've also been on a 10-day liveaboard out of Phuket, Thailand.  Please contact us if you are interested in joining or finding out more about our organization.

We invite you to check out some of our past dives in our photo gallery as well as look at some other web sites in the 'Links' section that we find helpful, enjoyable, and worthy causes.

Diving for Life

Annually, we join other scuba diving groups from around the world at the Diving For Life (DFL) Gay Scuba Jamboree.  This year's 2009 Diving For Life Jamboree is being held on Bonaire at Captain Don's Habitat from September 19th - 26th.  You can visit the Diving for Life web site at http://www.divingforlife.org/, if you would like more details about this event.  As with previous DFL jamborees, the number of participants is limited, so if you're interested get your registration forms in early!
